Binding wire is made of low carbon heat-treated wire according to GOST 3282-74, diameters from 0.16 mm to 10 mm, in coils, as a rule, up to 100 kg. During annealing, the metal is heated to the recrystallization temperature, and then cooled, it turns out annealed light (without scale) and dark wire (with scale). The binding wire has softness, plasticity, elasticity and durability.

The binding wire is made in two stages: harvesting and drawing. The metal from which the wire is produced is rolled and then it is cold rolled. In accordance with the standard GOST 3282, the binding wire is made of wire rod steel grade II in accordance with OST-14-15-193-86 or other regulatory and technical documentation. It is also allowed to make wire from low carbon steel grades according to GOST 1050-74 and rolled wire according to GOST 4231-70.

Binding wire is used in agriculture, in everyday life, in construction for tying Rebar, when weaving cables. Light wire has a smoother surface and is used for decoration as well as for the production of mesh. The dark oxide layer is not a marriage and does not affect the properties of the wire to tie the reinforcement cages. binding wire serves as a raw material for the production of galvanized soft and hard wire.

The 1.2 mm binding wire is used to join metal elements and parts of structures prior to welding, to hold the structure during welding.
